This family-friendly event is schedule for August 27-30 and includes a 5-Mile Dam Run, a regionally-ranked triatlon sprint, and a race to the top of Chimney Rock Park, plus a kids' festival, dragon boat racing, volleyball tournament, ski show, shag dance, fireworks, and so much more! Just $10 gets you a wristband pass to all standard events, and spectators can watch for free.

As a non-profit organization run entirely by volunteers, the annual Hickory Nut Gorge Olympiad sports festival brings people together in the spirit of friendly competition for the broader purpose of promoting health and wellness, charitable giving, regional tourism and economic development. Since 2005, the Olympiad has donated over $120K to charity.
