Oyster Roast Bonfire...during our absolute peak leaf season! Open to all and will feature an expanded menu with fire roasted oysters, steamed clams, split roasted chickens, special order Maine lobsters and filling side items like baked potatoes and corn on the cob. Food will be served from 5 to 7 pm; but reservations are strongly recommended; oysters will be limited in quantity. A cash bar with beer and wine will be available, and all guests are invited to enjoy a free marshmallow roast from 7 to 8 pm. Guests should bring appropriate clothing (fall nights cool down quickly) and beach chairs or blankets. We will have background music on the bandstand, making this just another perfect time to celebrate with family and friends in Lake Lure & the Blue Ridge Foothills.
Guests should arrive early to see the Blue Ridge Autumn-Mobile classic, custom, and antique car show at the Wellness Center from 1 to 5 pm. This show will feature a great selection of unique cars. We are currently accepting entrants (at no charge) and making plans for a morning road rally around Lake Lure to Chimney Rock.
