2nd Annual New Year's Polar Plunge: We're Freezin' for a Reason...to Keep Others Warm

Be sure to come back for New Year's and "take the plunge"!

The 2nd Annual New Year's Polar Plunge takes place on the shores of Lake Lure at 11 a.m. on January 1, 2010.

It is $35 to plunge - a portion of the proceeds go to local fire departments &.the majority of the proceeds go to Yokefellow - to help pay power bills, etc. for those who are unable to pay. Just keep in mind as you plunge that you are "Freezin' for a Reason"...to keep others warm!
